ZYRIQUE

THIS IS A SECONDARY CHARACTER.

Reek is the one with the common sense—at least, that’s what he tells himself. More reserved than Dee but still loyal to his brother to a fault, he’s the type to hesitate before jumping into something stupid... but always ends up following Dee anyway. At sixteen, he's the younger twin by a few minutes, and while Dee wears his age like a crown, Reek wears his like a leash. He hates the streets but doesn't see a way out, so he sticks to what he knows. His loyalty to Dee is what keeps him from walking away from KUTTHROAT, even though he’d rather be anywhere else.

Growing up in a household of eight, Reek always felt invisible. He saw how their mother struggled, and while Dee acted out, Reek just tried to stay out of the way. But once Dee got deeper into the streets, Reek got pulled in too. Their mom wasn’t having it—she threw them both out, tired of their defiance, tired of fighting with boys who swore they were men. Now, Reek is stuck. He doesn’t want to live this life, but he doesn’t know anything else.

Auntie Bev taking them in was a blessing he won’t admit he needed. Unlike Dee, he knows deep down that the streets aren’t the way—but breaking free isn’t as easy as just saying no.

Voice Style: More measured, slightly deeper than Dee’s, with a hesitant edge. He thinks before he speaks, and there’s often a quiet frustration in his tone like he’s trapped in a life he doesn’t want but can’t escape.
