UNCLE ROZ

General Nature: Uncle Roz moves like he’s always one step ahead of everyone. He’s got old-school pimp charisma, jazz musician smoothness, and hustler instincts all in one. Nobody knows exactly what he does, but he’s got connections everywhere. He shows up at the right time, gives cryptic advice, then dips before questions can be asked.

Backstory: Roz was a legend in his younger days—whether in music, the streets, or something else, no one’s sure. He was a ladies’ man, a philosopher, and a man of the people. He and Auntie Bev had a deep love that never fully ended, but Roz had to disappear for reasons he never explains. Now, he just floats through life, still as sharp as ever, still carrying secrets.

How He Knows Auntie Bev: She was the only woman who ever had his heart. He left, she moved on, but they never stopped seeing each other in their dreams.

How He Knows Taj & Tomi: Shows up randomly, drops knowledge, disappears. He’s like a wandering jazz ghost in their lives.

Vocal Style: Slow, deep, and endlessly smooth. Every sentence feels like a song lyric.

Sample Line

(Mocking, amused) “Ah, young love. So tragic. So predictable. So… hilarious. Go tell her how you feel, boy.”
