General Nature: A sharp, quick-witted, and sometimes skeptical realist, Tomi is the counterbalance to Taj’s dreaminess. He’s got hustler energy, always scheming ways to make a little extra money or get ahead. Unlike Taj, he doesn’t believe in overanalyzing life—he just lives it. He’s also incredibly protective of his people and has a strong moral compass, even if his way of showing it is blunt.
Backstory: Tomi is Nigerian, born in Lagos and raised in the U.S. His parents pushed him to pursue business, but he always gravitated toward art, music, and street culture. He enrolled in marketing but eventually dropped out alongside Taj when they realized they could do their own thing.
How He Met Taj: In college, they were both on an advertising project together. Taj wanted the campaign to have deep symbolism; Tomi just wanted it to be catchy and make money. Their debates turned into late-night smoke sessions, and the rest was history.
Vocal Style: Speaks in light Pidgin English, just enough to hint at his Nigerian roots while remaining easy to understand. His speech is fast, confident, and always laced with sarcasm.
