JACE

THIS IS A SECONDARY CHARACTER.

Jace is a cashier at Jack City Auto, a neighborhood auto parts store. He’s got a naturally chill demeanor, the kind that makes you wonder if anything in the world could actually faze him. Spoiler: nothing does—because Jace stays high. Not sloppy or out of it, just perpetually mellow, like his soul runs on low-fi beats and indica. He’s nonchalant but still polite, never raising his voice, never rushing, and definitely never sweating the small stuff. Customers either appreciate his smooth, unbothered energy or get annoyed that he’s moving at the speed of “whatever happens, happens.”

“WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS”  Donation Scene:
During checkout, Jace casually asks the grumpy old man if he’d like to donate to a charity. Before he even finishes the sentence, the old man pops off, ranting about how corporations and "these people" always begging for money. Unbothered, Jace just blinks real slow, nods, and responds with a simple, “Word?”

Voice Style:
Jace’s voice is effortlessly smooth, with that raspy, slow drawl of someone who’s never in a hurry. He sounds like he’s halfway between dropping wisdom and falling asleep. Every sentence has a slight pause, like he’s savoring the air before he speaks. He rarely emphasizes words unless he’s being sarcastic, and even then, it’s subtle. He’s got that dry, almost hypnotic delivery that makes even the most basic phrases sound like they came from a philosopher who just rolled up.
